Synopsis
Mick is the perfect assistant for his corrupt firm because he’s also the perfect scapegoat. His evil boss only hired him to take the fall for his crimes. But when Mick accidentally loses half a million dollars in an investment blunder, he realizes sooner rather than later… he’s bound for the brine.
Desperate to replace the money before being found out, Mick turns to Olga, an ancient widow who lives down the road. What she lacks in cognitive function, she makes up for in companionship, and before long the two become friends. However, with his boss closing in and Olga’s own secrets unraveling, Mick must choose: betray his new and only friend to save himself, or finally succumb to the voice that says he has none.

About the author
Writing and cooking—labors of love.
Just as “anyone can cook” (Ratatouille), I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and that you can either be the hero or villain of your own life. Oftentimes, the difference lies in the stories we tell ourselves—at night, all day, secretly in our heads—and Monster Appetite is a hilarious, action-packed testament to that fact.
Coming of age in the contemporary, AI-riddled setting of Monster Appetite, I am well acquainted with the spreadsheet-driven dread faced by our unlikely protagonist and the loneliness he must overcome to defeat evil. In writing this novel, I hope to share a fun, twist-filled take on what it takes to finally quench the hunger within.
